About the Role

Azizi Developments is seeking a Procurement Research Manager to lead global sourcing and procurement research across our construction and corporate divisions. This role is pivotal in identifying high‑quality international suppliers, optimizing costs, and strengthening our global vendor network.

You will oversee the end‑to‑end international procurement lifecycle from research and supplier qualification to shipment and delivery ensuring seamless supply chain operations that support large‑scale construction and MEP projects. This role demands strong research capability, commercial acumen, and hands‑on procurement expertise, with the ability to drive 20–30% cost savings in key categories while ensuring compliance with international trade standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead research and evaluation of global sourcing opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Identify and build long‑term supplier relationships internationally, ensuring consistent quality and reliability.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of overseas procurement, from sourcing and supplier onboarding to shipment and delivery.
  • Deliver market intelligence and benchmarking insights to strengthen negotiations and unlock savings opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, import/export regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain and expand a global supplier database categorized by material type, capacity, and performance KPIs.
  • Monitor global industry trends, pricing shifts, and supply chain risks.
  • Represent the company at international trade shows and sourcing events.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement research methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s/CIPS/CPSM preferred).
  • 10+ years’ experience in international procurement research, sourcing, or supplier development preferably in construction, civil, or MEP categories.
  • Strong understanding of global supply markets, vendor due diligence, and international procurement practices.
  • Proven track record in cost savings and supplier performance improvement.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel internationally for vendor assessments and trade events.
