A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Procurement Planner to develop and monitor the procurement schedule for large EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in procurement planning, strong communication skills, and proficiency in scheduling tools. Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Planner as part of our Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based full time at our Engineering Center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world.The Procurement Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring the procurement schedule and planning deliverables for an EPCM project. This role ensures that all procurement activities are aligned with the overall project execution plan, engineering deliverables, and construction requirements. The Procurement Planner works closely with engineering, contracts, logistics, and construction teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project milestones.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum 8–12 years of procurement planning experience, preferably on large‑scale EPCM or EPC projects in oil & gas, mining, energy, or infrastructure.
