About Your Team

This role sits within the Strategic Procurement Department at ALEC Holdings, a small but high‑impact team operating at group level and reporting to the Group Director – Strategic Procurement. Working closely with the CFO/COO, the team drives excellence in sourcing, governance, and sustainability across all business units. Dynamic and solutions‑driven, the team is trusted to deliver independently while contributing to major transformation initiatives, including group‑level indirect procurement integration, enhanced reporting systems, ESG frameworks, etc.

Your Role

As the Procurement Manager – Indirect, you will:

• Define and implement strategies for key indirect categories to deliver value, efficiency, and alignment with group objectives.
• Lead supplier engagement through negotiations, framework agreements, and performance management to ensure compliance and long‑term value.
• Drive governance, risk, and compliance in line with procurement policies, Delegation of Authority (DoA), IPO requirements, and ESG standards.
• Collaborate with business units to consolidate demand, identify savings opportunities, and strengthen supplier relationships.
• Support transformation initiatives by enhancing reporting, systems, and procurement processes across the Group.
• Act as a trusted advisor to divisional procurement teams, promoting collaboration and consistency in procurement practices.
• Champion sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement in supplier and category management.
• Your hours will be 8.00am to 5.30pm.
• Your working days are Monday to Friday.
• Your work location is Marina Plaza, Dubai.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Extensive procurement experience with strong exposure to indirect categories, including strategic sourcing or managerial role.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of procurement governance, risk and compliance frameworks, sustainability (ESG), and supplier performance management.
• Expertise: Killed in high‑value negotiations, contract management, and driving transformation initiatives such as supplier rationalisation, ERP integration, and process improvement.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision‑making.
• Hands‑on experience with modern procurement platforms and spend analytics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
