Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the company’s purchasing strategy to ensure best quality and prices.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers locally and internationally.
• Maintain and expand a strong network of growers, traders, and wholesalers.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Forecast demand and manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Analyze market trends, prices, and competitor sourcing strategies.
• Coordinate with the sales department to align purchasing with sales forecasts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables in the UAE market.
• Strong network of local and international suppliers.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of UAE food import regulations and customs procedures.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
