Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a motivated Logistics and Procurement Assistant to create and process purchase orders, maintain records, and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in logistics, procurement, or operations support.
• Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Experience in Purchase Order creation and documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data entry.
• Familiarity with SAP / ERP systems preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and process Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and timely
• Maintain procurement and logistics records through proper data entry and documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for order processing and delivery tracking
• Support procurement activities including quotations, comparisons, and follow-ups
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve logistics-related issues
• Update and maintain records in SAP / ERP systems
• Prepare reports related to inventory, procurement, and order status
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
