Job summary

Elliot Scott Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Procurement Engineer (Civil) with at least 1 year of experience to join our growing team. The role focuses on sourcing, negotiating and purchasing construction materials and services while ensuring quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery for civil projects across the UAE.

You will review requirements, work with suppliers, issue purchase orders, and coordinate with project managers to ensure on-time material delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of procurement experience in the UAE construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of local construction materials and suppliers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and prepare material requisitions.
• Identify, evaluate and develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Request quotations, compare proposals, negotiate terms and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to ensure timely material delivery.
• Maintain records of suppliers, materials and pricing history.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and project specifications.
