My client are a leading UAE business in the automotive industry. They are looking for an exceptional Operations Manager to join their growing team in Dubai.

Job Responsibilities

1. Sales–Procurement Alignment

  • Consolidate sales forecasts from regional teams and translate them into purchase plans for optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure procurement volumes match market demand patterns to avoid overstock and lost sales.
  • Maintain real-time communication between sales teams and procurement to adapt quickly to demand fluctuations.

2. Strategic Freight Sourcing Negotiations

  • Identify and develop a global supplier base that offers competitive pricing, consistent quality, and flexible supply terms.
  • Negotiate contracts, freight terms, and lead times to support sales seasonality and promotional activities.
  • Introduce multi-supplier sourcing strategies to reduce dependency risks.

3. Inventory & Demand Planning

  • Implement advanced inventory forecasting tools to balance stock availability with cash flow efficiency.
  • Reduce slow-moving inventory through sales–procurement coordination on clearance and repositioning plans.
  • Maintain an optimal inventory turnover ratio without compromising customer service levels.

4. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead cross-department planning sessions between Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance.
  • Coach teams on the importance of end-to-end commercial thinking — from supplier negotiation to customer pricing.
