Job summary

Mannesmann Energy in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Process Safety Engineer to lead HAZOP/HAZID, SIL/LOPA, and risk assessments for onshore/offshore projects.

You will ensure compliance with API, NFPA, IEC, ISO, OSHA, and CCPS standards, drawing on ADNOC project experience. A Bachelor's in Chemical or Process Engineering and 8–12 years in Oil & Gas or EPC with strong safety accreditation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/process engineering or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in Oil & Gas or EPC industries.
• Proven experience in process safety engineering for onshore/offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of HAZOP, HAZID, SIL/LOPA, QRA, Fire & Gas Detection Systems, PSM, Risk Assessment & Hazard Analysis.
• Familiarity with API, NFPA, IEC, ISO, OSHA, CCPS standards.
• ADNOC project experience preferred.
• Certifications: TÜV Functional Safety (SIS), NEBOSH PSM, CFSP (preferred), HAZOP Leader/Chair, IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH IGC (advantage).
• Relevant PSM training certificates.

• Proven experience in Process Safety Engineering for onshore/offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of: HAZOP,HAZID, SIL/LOPA Studies, QRA, Fire & Gas Detection Systems, Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Assessment & Hazard Analysis
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, NFPA, IEC, ISO, OSHA, CCPS).
• ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.
• Required Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) – Preferred
