Job summary

Reliance Human Resources Consultancy in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Process Safety Engineer with 15+ years in Oil & Gas and strong HAZOP/HAZID/LOPA expertise. The role focuses on brownfield EPC projects with ADNOC exposure and a track record in leading cross-disciplinary safety studies.

Applicants should demonstrate deep knowledge of international standards (ADNOC, IEC, API, NFPA) and proven interface experience with clients and consultants, plus a recognized Process Safety certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years Oil & Gas / Process Safety experience.
• Strong EPC project experience (brownfield).
• ADNOC project experience preferred.
• Experience leading HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, SIL, QRA, Bow-Tie & Fire & Gas studies.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC, IEC, API, NFPA and relevant international standards.
• Experience with client/consultant interface.
• Relevant Process Safety / Functional Safety certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
