Job description

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project called: “Egypt Downtown Facility.”

The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance the effectiveness, coherence and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing rapid, flexible and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This objective will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved programme implementation and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions.

In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Non-Key Expert – Private Sector & SME Development to support technical assistance assignments related to private sector development, SME competitiveness, entrepreneurship, business environment reform, access to finance, innovation, and investment-related analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, finance, entrepreneurship, development studies, or a related field.
• Arabic is an asset.
• French is an asset.

Professional Experience

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in private-sector development, SME support, entrepreneurship and/or business environment reform.
• Experience preparing market assessments, feasibility studies, sector analyses, investment-related studies or policy recommendations.
• Experience supporting SME competitiveness, access to finance, innovation and business support services.
• Good knowledge of private-sector development policies and instruments.
• Experience in Egypt and/or the MENA region highly desirable.
