Job Description

A family in Dubai is seeking a UK & European-trained Private Physician to act as their resident clinical lead.

The work spans every age group in the household, so broad family medicine is essential.

The household spends summers in Switzerland, where you go with them.

You will keep detailed notes for the family's specialists.

Requirements

You are a family medicine doctor (GP) with full UK or European registration.

At least 5 years of independent clinical practice following full registration.

A background in general practice is preferred.

Clear English and quiet discretion in a private home are essential.

We take up references from senior colleagues before introduction.

Salary: £218,000 a year gross.

It is a gross salary, paid into the bank account of your choice.

The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.

The family covers your accommodation within the residence and flights.

Holidays are planned around the family's season.

Your contract is with the family, who are your employer.

Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.

Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.

Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.

Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide at short notice.

Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
