Job summary

Shorooq Partners group is seeking a Private Equity Associate or Senior Associate to join its lean team and drive sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investments across multiple industries in the GCC region.

The candidate will work directly with senior leadership, handling financial modeling, due diligence, investment memos, and portfolio value creation initiatives from day one.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have 2–6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Big 4 Transaction Services, or Private Equity.
• Strong transaction experience and analytical rigor are required.
• Sector-agnostic with a flexible and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support in deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management
• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, due diligence, and market research
• Prepare investment memos and present to the investment committee
• Collaborate with portfolio companies to support value creation initiatives
• Maintain strong industry relationships and network within the GCC region

We are seeking a talented and driven Private Equity Associate or Senior Associate to join our growing team. The candidate will play an integral role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments across a range of industries. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership in a lean and entrepreneurial environment, offering significant exposure and responsibility from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management
• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, due diligence, and market research
• Prepare investment memos and present to the investment committee
• Collaborate with portfolio companies to support value creation initiatives
• Maintain strong industry relationships and network within the GCC region
  

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Big 4 Transaction Services, or Private Equity
• Demonstrated transaction experience and analytical rigor
• Sector-agnostic with a flexible and entrepreneurial mindset
• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a small team (3–4 people)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong plus
• Willingness to be based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi
