Job summary

Datacube Consultancy & Solutions is seeking an experienced Principal Engineer - Master Data Management (MDM) to lead enterprise MDM strategy, architecture, governance, and transformation initiatives in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role calls for 13+ years in data management and 8+ years hands-on MDM, preferably Oracle.

You will own the Oracle MDM service across domains, drive data quality, standards, and regulatory alignment with CBUAE, while leading a global delivery team and engaging senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 15+ years in Data Management / Enterprise Applications
• 8+ years hands-on with MDM platforms (Oracle preferred)
• Deep expertise in MDM architecture, data models, governance, and data quality frameworks
• Strong Oracle ecosystem knowledge (UCM, OEDQ, ODI, EBS/Fusion, APIs & Middleware)
• Extensive experience in large-scale transformation programs in regulated environments (banking preferred)
• Strong understanding of cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture
• Proven leadership in stakeholder management, vendor management, and global delivery
• Certifications in Oracle / Cloud / Data Governance / ITIL are preferred

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise MDM strategy, roadmap, and governance
• Own the end-to-end Oracle MDM service across domains and geographies
• Drive data standardization, stewardship, and enterprise data quality frameworks
• Ensure scalability, security, resilience, and performance of the MDM platform
• Lead architecture, integration, and data flows across core banking, channels, and enterprise platforms
• Drive large-scale MDM transformation and regulatory initiatives
• Establish governance, audit readiness, and compliance aligned with CBUAE expectations
• Enable advanced analytics, AI, and data monetization through trusted master data
• Manage executive-level stakeholders across Business, IT, and Data functions
• Oversee vendor strategy, contracts, delivery, and cost optimization
• Ensure effective ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Lead and mentor architects, technical leads, SMEs, and high-performing teams
