Job summary

Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Awal (KBZA) School in Abu Dhabi is seeking qualified teachers for KG–Grade 12 to deliver IB curriculum integrated with MoE standards. Strong English teaching, UAE MoE license, and 3+ years of classroom experience are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited institution, specialization in assigned area.
• A UAE Ministry of Education Teaching License is required.
• A minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent for English subject teaching.
• Teaching experience of 3+ years is mandatory.
• Full-time school experience with responsibility for a full class during an academic year.
• IB experience is highly desirable.
• Experience in UAE and knowledge of local education system preferred.
• Knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, and classroom management.
• Subject-specific knowledge and leadership/relationship management abilities.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to all levels.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited academic institution, (with specialization in the assigned area of responsibility) for KG, C1, C2 and C3.
• A UAE-Ministry of Education Teaching License is required.
• A minimum IELTS score of 6 or its equivalency for English medium subjects. (Native Speakers of English are exempt).
• Teaching experience of 3+ years is mandatory.
• Full-time school experience with responsibility for a full class of students during an academic year.
• Prior teaching experience in International Baccalaureate (IB) schools is highly desirable.
• The experience must be within the relevant age group and subject.
• Prior experience teaching in the UAE and knowledge of the local education system and cultural nuances are preferred.
• Knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, student learning, management of student behaviour, teaching and learning strategies.
• Subject-specific knowledge.
• Leadership skills, including people management, student management, and classroom management.
• Relationship Management skills with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Communication skills and ability to adapt to all levels.
