Job Description:
The Arbor School is seeking a passionate, creative, and reflective Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to inspire and challenge students as they develop greater independence, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. The successful candidate will create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, take responsibility for their learning, and develop a genuine love of learning.
Through purposeful planning, effective teaching, and ongoing assessment, the KS2 Teacher will deliver rich and engaging learning experiences aligned with the National Curriculum for England. They will support students in developing strong foundations across literacy, numeracy, and the wider curriculum, while nurturing their creativity, curiosity, resilience, and independence.
Strong relationships with students and families, collaborative working with colleagues, and a commitment to continuous professional development are central to this role. The successful candidate will contribute positively to the wider school community and help prepare students for a confident and successful transition into Key Stage 3.
