Job summary

Mubarak Bin Mohammed Charter School in Abu Dhabi is seeking a committed Homeroom Teacher to join our team. You will deliver engaging lessons for primary students, assess progress and adapt teaching to close learning gaps while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive classroom.

You will support students' academic progress, wellbeing and personal development, provide constructive feedback, and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• Recognised primary teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching primary-aged students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to support students learning English as an additional language.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet students' learning needs.
• Use assessment information to identify gaps and provide support.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with clear routines and behavior expectations.
• Support students' academic progress, wellbeing and personal development.
• Provide meaningful feedback and maintain accurate assessment and attendance records.
• Work closely with colleagues, school leaders and the inclusion team.
• Communicate regularly with parents about learning progress and wellbeing.
