Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy across orders and presentations.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in teams across front- and back-of-house.
• Ability to read and understand KOTs and verify dishes against orders.
• Fast learner with good organization and the ability to stay accurate under pressure.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens, and presentation.
• Read and verify kitchen order tickets (KOTs) before dishes leave the pass.
• Report missing items, delays, or discrepancies promptly.
• Collect and deliver dishes to tables promptly and accurately.
• Announce dishes clearly and coordinate deliveries for same-table courses.
• Support delivery/takeaway processes with proper packaging and handover.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic service area throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with chefs, waitstaff, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow all food safety, health, and hygiene procedures.
• Attend briefings and tastings to maintain product knowledge.
