Job summary

Adearest in Abu Dhabi is seeking Metal Fabricators who can read drawings, measure and assemble extruded and bent metal profiles into frames and components of metal doors. You will read work orders, mark sheet metal for bending, and fabricate with templates to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities include mitre/bevel cutting, welding prep, finishing with grinding and polishing, and performing quality checks. The role requires good stamina for prolonged standing and strict adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Read and understand work orders and drawings.
• Precisely measure and mark sheet metal for bending and cutting.
• Create templates, jigs and fixtures to speed up repetitive work.
• Perform mitre cuts and bevel cuts on bent profiles and prepare edges for welding.
• Finish welded areas by grinding, buffing and polishing.
• Carry out quality checks using set-squares, levels and other measuring tools.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Must have stamina for prolonged standing.

Responsibilities

• Mark, cut, bend and assemble metal profiles into frames and components.
• Produce templates and fixtures to streamline production.
• Cut and bevel/miter bent profiles and prepare edges for welding.
• Weld joints, grind, buff and finish welded areas.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized workspace; stand for long periods.
