Job summary

Adearest in Abu Dhabi is seeking Metal Fabricators who can read drawings, measure and assemble extruded and bent metal profiles into frames and components of metal doors. You will read work orders, mark sheet metal for bending, and fabricate with templates to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities include mitre/bevel cutting, welding prep, finishing with grinding and polishing, and performing quality checks. The role requires good stamina for prolonged standing and strict adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Read and understand work orders and drawings.
• Precisely measure and mark sheet metal for bending and cutting.
• Create templates, jigs and fixtures to speed up repetitive work.
• Perform mitre cuts and bevel cuts on bent profiles and prepare edges for welding.
• Finish welded areas by grinding, buffing and polishing.
• Carry out quality checks using set-squares, levels and other measuring tools.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Must have stamina for prolonged standing.

Job description

We are looking forMetal Fabricators who can read drawings, measures, cuts, bends and assembles extruded and bended thin metal profiles into frames and components of metal doors.

Skills & Expertise required:

• Read & understand Workorder and drawings provided.
• Precisely measure & mark the sheet metal for bending and bended profiles for cutting.
• Make necessary templates jigs and fixtures that are necessary to make the repetitive jobs easier & faster.
• Perform mitre cutting and bevel cutting on bended steel profiles using machine and hand tools & prepare the cut edges to precise specifications to match properly so that the joints can be welded smoothly.
• Finish the welded area by grinding, buffing and final polishing.
• Carry out quality checks on the work carried out by using set-squares, levels and other measuring tools to confirm that all parts are manufactured to specifications.
• Follow the safety procedures and protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Must have good stamina and ability to perform physical labour, including standing for prolonged periods.
