Job summary

GluCare in the UAE seeks a Medical Coder to ensure accurate CPT/ICD/HCPCS coding for outpatient encounters, support timely claim submissions, and reduce denials.

You will maintain audit-ready documentation, adhere to DHA regulations, and collaborate with clinicians and insurers to resolve coding questions and ensure appropriate reimbursement.

Candidates should have CPC, a relevant bachelor's, and at least 2 years of UAE experience in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder credential.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of DHA regulations and UAE payer rules.
• Minimum 2 years of coding and denial management experience in the UAE.
• Proficiency in EHR systems, coding tools, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records to ensure coding reflects medical necessity and is compliant.
• Clarify incomplete documentation with clinicians to support billed services.
• Apply payer-specific coding guidelines and bundling rules.
• Assist audits, denial management, and educate providers on documentation and reimbursement.
• Submit clean claims within defined turnaround times and resubmit denials with justification.
