Job summary

Flip Retail in United Arab Emirates, Dubai is seeking a Conventional Lathe Operator to produce high-precision parts per customer specifications. You will set up and operate turret lathes, verify first-offs with verniers and micrometers, and perform routine maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in manual and CNC turning, and strong English communication. Knowledge of overhead cranes and lifting devices is a plus, with strict adherence to ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Preference for 3–5 years experience operating in the same/similar setting.
• Able to operate manual and CNC turning lathes.
• Capable of lifting with devices.
• Excellent English spoken and written communication.
• Ability to read, interpret and communicate technical drawings.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Reliability, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic PC skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate a turret lathe to produce high-precision parts per client specs.
• Precisely position components in the machine.
• Determine operations to machine parts to required size.
• Inspect first-offs with hand tools (verniers, micrometers).
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep tools in good condition.
• Keep workplace clean and organized.
• Ensure all work, procedures, and documentation meet ISO 9001 requirements.
