Job summary

Work standard is seeking a CNC Operator for our Sharjah, UAE team. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, setting up CNC machines, and producing precision parts from metal and plastics. The position is full-time with a monthly salary of 1200 AED, based in Sharjah.

Key duties include reading blueprints, performing machine setup, conducting quality checks, and maintaining records while following safety regulations. Immigrant applicants are welcome even without a visa.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational machining diploma is a plus.
• Proven CNC operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong math skills including decimals and basic geometry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficient use of measuring tools with accuracy.
• Ie able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and job orders to determine part specs.
• Set up and operate CNC machines according to program instructions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on machines as needed.
• Monitor operations and adjust parts or tooling as necessary.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.
• Maintain accurate records for each job order.
• Follow all safety rules when operating machinery.
