Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational machining diploma is a plus.
• Proven CNC operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong math skills including decimals and basic geometry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficient use of measuring tools with accuracy.
• Ie able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a CNC Operator to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the CNC machine to produce precision parts and tools from metal, plastic or other materials.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200 AED per month. The position is based in Sharjah, UAE.

Job Description

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job orders to determine the type of part to be machined, the dimensions required, tolerance levels, and other specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC machines according to instructions provided by the program.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on machines as needed.
• Monitor machine operations to detect faulty parts or tooling and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Perform quality checks using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc. as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed on each job order.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations when operating machinery or handling materials.

Demands for the Candidate

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical/vocational diploma in machining is an advantage.
• Proven experience in operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Good knowledge of machine shop mathematics including decimals and basic geometry is essential.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately is essential.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, comparators etc., accurately is essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.
