Job summary

EDGE Group is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with small mechanical and electrical parts.

You will use precision measuring tools, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet targets. A 1-2 year experience and a diploma in a mechanical field are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in assembly work and manufacturing.
• Diploma or technical training in mechanical or related field.
• Experience with mechanical or product assembly is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly of components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure assembled parts meet quality, tolerance, and dimensional standards and perform final testing.
• Use precision measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges and calibration equipment.
