Job summary

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care in the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assess, monitor, and document patient health, assist with daily living activities, and support ongoing care coordination.

The role requires a Diploma in Nursing (18 months), DHA license eligibility, BCLS certification, and fluent English. You will follow strict infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement

Qualifications

Diploma in Nursing (18 months minimum).
Current Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or eligible for DHA licensure.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Provides patient-centered nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic.
Assists with assessing and evaluating patient health and functional status.
Monitors and reports changes to the Registered Nurse.
Assists with activities of daily living to promote independence.
Maintains communication with healthcare team and documents care.
Ensures infection control protocols are followed and equipment is cleaned.
