Job summary

American Hospital Dubai seeks a Diploma-trained nurse with DHA licensure and BCLS certification to provide patient-centered care in the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic. You will support daily living activities, monitor vital signs, document status, and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality care.

Responsibilities include assisting with assessments, care planning, and participating in infection control and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing not less than eighteen (18) months course duration.
• Current/Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-centered nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse within the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic.
• Assists with assessing, intervening, and evaluating patient health and functional status.
• Supports patients with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Monitors and reports changes in health and functional status to the Registered Nurse.
• Maintains ongoing communication with the healthcare team regarding patient care.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to promote safety and quality care.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Removes peripheral IV lines as instructed by the registered nurse.
• Monitors and documents intake/output and vital signs.
• Follows infection control protocols and proper waste disposal.
• Maintains confidentiality and cleanliness of the unit.
