KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Define the PR & Media Strategy in the region
- Develop and implement regional Media & PR strategy building brand awareness among the right audience to recruit new customers
- Ensure dispatch and strong influx of relevant information to the key media and partners
- Ensure qualitative and quantitative press coverage (print and digital)
- Develop a media relation strategy
- Develop and pitch global but also regional stories
- Manage media inquiries (content, interviews…)
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships on an on-going basis
- Manage public relations activities : press related events, press trips, shootings…
Agency Management
- Management of development and implementation of all media plans for the full region
- Responsible for the management of all agencies related to media & brand relations
- Regularly communicating with key stakeholders the media plan for the region
- Management and implementation of COOP media and budgets
- Management of the creatives required for the successful implementation of the media plans for the full region in accordance with both international brand and Richemont media guidelines
- Management of the media reporting required for the regional media plans
- Ensuring full optimization of all digital media plans
- Management of all social media planning, implementation & assets required for both owned social media and partner social media platforms
Lead the key ambassador strategy in the region
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders for the Maison future
- Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
- Contribute to grow the VIP and KOL Database (local government, artists, royalties…)
- Suggest and recruit new ambassadors in line with the Maison strategy
- Assist in management of brand ambassadors and influencers contracts and deliverables
- Set up relevant PR initiatives to meet objectives
- Recommend product placement in photoshoot, events and social media …
- Forecasts of quantities of gifts for press
- Follow up PR budget for kits, press trips, shoot
Brand relations
- Management of the development and implementation of all regional brand relations plans
- Management of all language translations required for brand assets
- Management of all brand assets and products required for all regional brand relations activities
- Manage and develop a network of friends of the brand / local VIPs / influencers with the aim of increasing brand awareness and relevance
- Manage COOP brand relations activities and requests to ensure alignment to brand & regional marketing strategy
- Ensure brand relations outcomes and results are aligned to regionally set qualitative and quantitative targets
Responsible for the creative media and visual performance shootings
- Develop advertising and marketing communications and prepare directions for articles
- Optimize editorial results vs budget spent with the media
- Identify key profiles for shootings and built excellent relationships with them
- Plan, implement and manage shootings
- Monitor corporate image frequently
Budget & Reporting
- Responsible of the PR & Media budget
- Maintain rolling 12 month media and brand relations plan for the full region, including COOP
- Management of all international and regional reporting requirements
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a monthly basis
- Provide regular feedback on PR, media and brand relation competitors best practices
JOB PROFILE
Education
- BSc / BA in PR, communications, journalism or similar relevant field
Required experience
- Experience in similar PR roles
- A proven track record of successful PR campaigns
- Excellent communication, presentation skills
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Have a full understanding of media needs and relationships
Technical skills / abilities
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to travel within region (including KSA) & Europe
