Job summary

Axalta in the UAE is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform routine inspection, sampling, testing, and verification of in-process materials and finished powder coatings. You will support production with timely testing, accurate reporting, and adherence to QC procedures and safety standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of QC lab experience, preferably in powder coatings, and strong data analysis skills along with fluent English and local language ability.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a QC laboratory or manufacturing quality environment.
• Experience in powder coatings/paints is highly desirable.
• Fluent written and spoken English and local language.

Responsibilities

• In-process quality control: collect and test powder coating samples during production.
• Verify critical quality parameters and compare with specifications.
• Communicate out-of-spec results to QC Supervisor and Production.
• Perform finished product testing including color, gloss, thickness, and adhesion.
• Maintain calibration, documentation, and housekeeping in the QC lab.
