Job summary

Vincere seeks a seasoned marine electronics engineer to own the reliability and certification of navigation, communication, automation systems (ECDIS, GMDSS, DP/USV where applicable). You will lead troubleshooting, upgrades, and cyber/comms readiness across a mixed fleet including USVs.

Plan upgrades/retrofits, maintain records, and coordinate with Projects to define electronic scope. Requires 7–10 years in marine electronics, GMDSS/ECDIS experience, and ISO/SOLAS familiarity.

Qualifications

• B.Eng. in Electronics/Automation/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years' experience in marine electronics (GMDSS/ECDIS/radar/automation) with superintendent exposure.
• GMDSS maintainer or OEM courses preferred; cyber awareness required.
• Familiarity with IMO (SOLAS/MARPOL/ISM/ISPS), Flag State & Class rules, STCW; ISO 9001/14001/45001 a plus.
