Job summary
Black & Grey HR is seeking a Port Engineer (Technical Superintendent) – Electronics & Systems for a permanent, office-based role in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will own and certify navigation, communication, automation, and electronic control systems across a mixed fleet and USVs, ensuring cyber readiness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
- 7–10 years in marine electronics with supervisor exposure.
- Strong knowledge of navigation, communication, and automation systems.
- Experience with DP systems and/or DP/USV controls is advantageous.
- Familiar with PMS/CMMS, firmware, and configuration management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain certification and operability of nav, comm, and automation systems.
- Diagnose faults, manage spares and firmware.
- Plan upgrades and retrofits including cyber readiness.
- Support USV deployments, including comms and sensors.
- Coordinate with Class Societies and Flag State authorities.
- Interface with OEMs, integrators, and vendors.
- Supervise technicians and contractors to safety and quality.
