Job summary

Marriott International’s Sheraton property in Abu Dhabi seeks a lifeguard to monitor the pool area and ensure guest safety. You will observe the swimming area, enforce rules, and provide rescue assistance until emergency services arrive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with CPR/First Aid certification.
• Good swimming ability and endurance, ability to act quickly in emergencies.
• Comfortable working in a hotel environment with guests of diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions and unsafe activities.
• Provide rescue assistance to swimmers in need until EMS arrival.
• Promote facility rules and ensure guest safety.
• Maintain towels and pool deck cleanliness as per procedures.
• Report accidents and participate in safety trainings and certifications.
• Assist guests and respond promptly to service needs.
