Job summary

Southern Sun Abu Dhabi is seeking a vigilant pool lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of pool users. You will monitor aquatic areas, enforce pool rules, perform first aid and emergency response when required, and maintain a clean, welcoming pool environment.

This role requires strong observational skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to high health and safety standards. You will support swim lesson instructors and accompany public swim sessions, while completing incident

Qualifications

• Lifeguard qualification (ADQCC) and current first aid/CPR certification.
• Experience as lifeguard or supervisor at pool/leisure centre desirable.
• Excellent observational skills and alertness.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise swimmers at all times from lifeguard stations and maintain visual contact.
• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations.
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid/CPR/AED when required.
• Complete incident reports and liaise with management and emergency services.
