Job summary

AccorHotel in the United Arab Emirates (Fujairah) is seeking a pool attendant to greet guests, maintain poolside areas, and ensure safety and comfort. The role involves delivering drinks, answering inquiries, and upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Hospitality setting experience is preferred.

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly welcoming attitude and provide excellent service.
• Monitor pool area for safety and comfort.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations in a courteous manner.
• Set up and maintain poolside furniture including chairs, towels, umbrellas and tables.
• Assist guests with pool-related inquiries or concerns offering recommendations or guidance as needed.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the pool area by picking up trash and disposing of waste properly.
• Take guest orders, provide recommendations and deliver drinks promptly.
• Respond promptly to guest needs such as providing towels or seating arrangements.
• Monitor pool area for safety hazards and address any risks promptly.
• Report accidents, injuries, or incidents to management and follow safety procedures.
• Ensure the area complies with health and safety regulations including pool hygiene standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
