Job summary

Remitly in the UAE is seeking a policy and government affairs leader to develop and implement strategies in the GCC region. You will advance fintech-friendly regulatory positions through associations and monitor regulatory risks, reporting on mitigation options.

You will coordinate with executives and stakeholders, facilitate regulatory meetings, and ensure alignment with business goals while engaging with trade groups to shape industry thought-leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in policy advocacy or government affairs with policymakers and government stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, or Economic Development.
• Experience with executive stakeholder management and influencing outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Arabic language skills are a bonus.
