Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Site Coordinator for ADNOC Onshore projects. You will coordinate day-to-day on-site activities, ensure safety and quality, and liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and management to meet ADNOC standards.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree and 10+ years in oil and gas, with strong knowledge of ADNOC procedures and PTW. A UAE driving license and HSE trainings are advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Minimum 10 years experience in oil & gas or ADNOC Onshore projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, PTW system, and site execution processes.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and multicultural workforces.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor daily site activities in line with approved schedules and work plans.
  • Act as the main point of contact between site teams, subcontractors, and project management.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC Onshore standards, procedures, and HSE regulations.
  • Assist in site planning, manpower allocation, and resource coordination; monitor progress and report status to Project Manager.
  • Ensure work permits, toolbox talks, and method statements are in place before job execution.
  • Coordinate inspections, site visits, and approvals with ADNOC representatives.
  • Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and documentation.
  • Support QA/QC activities and ensure works meet project specifications.
  • Identify site risks and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Enforce strict adherence to ADNOC HSE policies and procedures.
  • Promote safe work practices and participate in safety meetings and audits.
  • Ensure incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions are reported immediately

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
