Job summary

Wood is seeking a PMC Senior Supervisor, OPS Support - Mechanical to oversee and coordinate all on-site mechanical activities for a high-profile client. The role focuses on installing, testing, and commissioning piping, rotating and static equipment in alignment with project specs and international standards.

You will supervise contractors/subcontractors, ensure rigorous safety practices, monitor timelines, and drive corrective actions to prevent delays, contributing to a robust delivery model

Responsibilities

• Guarantee that all mechanical systems (piping, rotating equipment, static equipment) are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with project specifications and international standards.
• Supervise and guide contractors/subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and quality execution of mechanical works onsite.
• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements, ensuring zero incidents and promoting a strong safety culture.
• Monitor mechanical activities against project timelines, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
