Wood is recruiting an experienced PMC Instrument Engineering Specialist for ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The role will be based at the client office in Abu Dhabi with occasional travel to Spain.

You will provide technical Instrumentation design expertise, ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, and coordinate with EPC Contractors to deliver quality engineering within project timelines. The successful candidate will lead reviews of deliverables, drive integration with IPMT and engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Instrument, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of oil and gas industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical, team and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with international codes and standards.
• Proficient with engineering software and common business tools.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Instrument Engineering Specialist for our client ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi as part of our Instrument Engineering within the Oil & Gas & New Energies business.

The position will be based at the client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and will require occasional travel to Spain.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in all Instrumentation design.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor, and handle Instrumentation design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectations and complete the same within the time frame.
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, and ADNOC Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Instrumentation Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants and contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure integration of overall Instrumentation Engineering, overall coordination within IPMT Instrumentation Engineering Team, and quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant and EPC Contractor Instrumentation Engineering design activities.
• Review and approve Engineering Consultant and EPC Contractor work to ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and best industry practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Instrument, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent technical, team, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software.
• Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing, and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
