Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Lead Installation Engineer to guide installation activities for ADNOC projects across offshore and onshore sites. The role demands technical leadership, rigorous adherence to standards, and close coordination with contractors to ensure safe, efficient execution of complex installation works.

Ideal candidates will have extensive offshore installation experience, familiarity with PMC/EPC environments, and a strong command of international offshore standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Civil Structural or Offshore Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in installation engineering within the oil and gas industry with significant exposure to offshore projects.
• Proven experience in a lead role within PMC or EPC environments preferably on ADNOC projects.
• Strong knowledge of offshore installation methodologies including heavy lifting transportation loadout subsea installation and hook-up and commissioning support.
• Familiarity with international standards and guidelines such as DNV ISO and API related to offshore installation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all installation engineering activities for ADNOC projects ensuring safe, efficient and compliant execution of offshore and onshore installation works.
• Provide technical leadership, validating contractor methodologies and ensuring all installation operations are executed in accordance with project specifications, international standards and ADNOC requirements.
• Support project delivery through review of installation plans, risk assessments, and field execution readiness.
