Job Summary
Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC HSE Manager for one of our key clients in Abu Dhabi for a downstream project as part of our HSE engineering team. This role will be based full‑time at the client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with required business trips to South Korea.

Responsibilities
- Participate in vendor meetings.
- Produce and review specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports and design calculations ensuring they conform to engineering quality, competence and project management systems.
- Coordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre‑commissioning and start‑up.
- Attend client meetings and communicate issues with the lead engineer as required.
- Interact with team members in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline‑specific procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participate in internal audits.
- Actively maintain own competence according to standards and pursue continuous professional development.
- Ensure self‑awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments.
Qualifications
- BEng in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience of Concept / FEED / Detailed Design project phases.
- Minimum of 20 years relevant experience.
- Experience in methanol projects.
