John Wood Group PLC is recruiting an experienced PMC Engineer (Commissioning Mechanical) with extensive oil and gas industry expertise for ADNOC Onshore, based in Abu Dhabi.

Based on onshore site in Abu Dhabi, the role focuses on planning, coordinating and executing mechanical pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance testing to ensure safe transfer from construction to operations in line with CLIENT requirements and applicable codes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Experience with ADNOC or oil & gas projects preferred.
• Knowledge of HSE and international codes.

Job description

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Engineer (Commissioning Mechanical) with extensive experience in the oil and Gas industry for ADNOC Onshore client to be based in Abu Dhabi within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role

Responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising and executing mechanical pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance testing activities for onshore oil and gas facilities. The engineer ensures that mechanical systems and equipment are safely and successfully transferred from construction to operations in accordance with CLIENT requirements, approved procedures, project specifications, HSE standards and applicable international codes.
