Job summary
Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Specialist Engineer (Cost/Planning) in Abu Dhabi to lead project controls, including planning, scheduling, cost control, and forecasting for high-profile LNG/energy projects. The role focuses on ensuring budgets and timelines are met while providing expert analysis to enable timely decisions.
The ideal candidate brings extensive Oil & Gas experience, offshore exposure, and ADNOC project familiarity, contributing to Wood's global engineering and energy services
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas with 5 years in a similar role.
- ADNOC projects experience mandatory.
- Offshore project experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop contractual requirements relating to cost control, estimation and variations in contracts and incorporate them into tender documents and agreements.
- Evaluate technical bids (PMC, FEED, EPC) for compliance and clarify questions to bidders.
- Prepare portions of Technical Evaluation Report and finalize contract documents after bulletins and clarifications.
- Evaluate variation requests/claims and provide cost analysis and counters; align with unit rates and management approvals.
- Prepare AFE/AFOU for ongoing projects for management approval.
- Coordinate with Project Control Managers to ensure adherence to Project Control Procedures throughout project.
- Ensure charges are posted to correct account codes.
