Job summary

Serco Group in Dubai Airports is seeking an Assistant Technician Plumber to carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on plumbing pipework, equipment and systems within a designated area of Dubai Airports, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

You will read schematics, operate test equipment, and apply local and international plumbing standards. Two-year diploma and IOSH cert required; minimum 3 years FM or plumbing experience.

Qualifications

• Industrial Diploma in Pipe Fitting or HVAC maintenance.
• IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in FM or similar as Plumbing & Pump Technician.
• Ability to perform safety isolations and LOTO on plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret pipework schematics and system layouts.
• Set up and use test equipment and interpret results (manometer, test kits, DMM).
• Ensure compliance with local and international plumbing standards.

Education

Industrial Training Institute Diploma 2 years in Pipe Fitting or Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Maintenance or equivalent (post high school)
