Job summary

Egis Group in Dubai is seeking a skilled plumber to install, repair and maintain water supply, drainage, and sanitary fixtures across projects.

You will read plumbing drawings, install pipes and fittings, perform pressure tests, and coordinate with MEP teams on site, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• ITI / Trade Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in construction or facilities management projects.
• Good knowledge of plumbing materials tools and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE standards and regulations is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and heights if required.
• Basic communication skills in English; Hindi/Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install repair and maintain water supply, drainage, and sanitary fixtures.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures (PVC, PPR, HDPE, copper, GI).
• Conduct pressure testing and leakage testing of installed systems.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.
• Repair or replace broken pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g. DEWA/municipality standards).
• Coordinate with MEP team and other trades on-site.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Report material requirements and site issues to the supervisor.
