Job summary
Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking a skilled PLC Programming Engineer with proven expertise in Siemens SICAM PAS SICAM A8000 RTUs and WinCC SCMS systems. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Automation Engineering.
- 3–6 years of PLC programming and field commissioning with Siemens PLCs.
- Practical experience with Modbus, Profinet, IEC61850, IEC104.
- Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC/HMI experience.
- Knowledge of IED/configuration gateways and network diagnostics tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and troubleshoot Siemens PLC programs using TIA Portal.
- Configure communication with field devices (Modbus, Profinet, IEC61850, IEC104).
- Perform FAT/SAT and simulate PLC logic with test benches.
- Lead on-site commissioning including I/O tests and protocol testing.
- Provide documentation and support during handover.
