Job summary

Revolut in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to help build and scale core backend systems that power our financial services. You will write high-throughput, concurrent code and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to drive design decisions.

The role requires deep Java expertise, a track record of building foundational platforms, and strong English communication in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, maths, physics, or similar field.
• Production fluency in Java; willingness to work primarily in Java.
• Experience building core systems or foundational platforms.
• Distributed systems experience at meaningful scale.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
