Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking skilled masons and plasterers to independently execute block masonry and plastering tasks. You will construct walls and partitions per drawings, prepare surfaces, and ensure precise levels, alignment, and finishing quality on residential or commercial projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with block work and plastering, ability to read basic drawings, and adherence to PPE, HSE, and site housekeeping standards. UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience as Plasterer, Block Mason, Mason or similar.
• Ability to perform skilled work independently and read basic drawings.
• Familiarity with construction tools, materials, and safety rules.
• Experience with block work and plastering in residential/commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Skilled hands-on trade position responsible for independently executing block work, plastering, masonry andsurface preparation. This is not a helper/labourer position.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute block masonry and plastering works independently.Construct walls and partitions according to drawings and measurements.Prepare surfaces and carry out internal/external plastering.Maintain levels, alignment, thickness, verticality and finishing quality.Mix and use mortar, plaster, cement and related materials correctly.Complete corners, edges, openings and finishing details.Check and correct defects.Follow drawings and Foreman/Site Engineer instructions.Coordinate with other trades to avoid delays and rework.Maintain tools and comply with PPE, HSE and housekeeping requirements.Report material shortages, defects and unsafe conditions.Minimum RequirementsProven hands-on experience as Plasterer, Block Mason, Mason or similar.Ability to perform skilled work independently.Practical block-work and plastering knowledge.Ability to understand measurements, levels and basic drawings/instructions.Knowledge of construction tools/materials.Ability to maintain quality and productivity safely.PreferredUAE/GCC construction experience.Residential, commercial or building construction experience.Ability to perform both block work and plastering.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating foundational literacy and numeracy.
• Holds a vocational training certificate or apprenticeship completion in masonry or plastering.
• Has a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in both block masonry and plastering.
• Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and technical drawings.
