This position is based in Ireland.
Key Duties
- Apply plaster, drywall compound, or other finishes to interior and exterior walls and ceilings of buildings.
- Prepare surfaces, mix materials, apply multiple coats, and create smooth or decorative finishes.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and applying bonding agents.
- Mix and apply various types of plaster (e.g., bonding, skimming, rendering).
- Apply decorative finishes to walls and ceilings.
- Measure and level surfaces to achieve a smooth and even finish.
- Install plasterboard (drywall) and jointing.
- Perform repairs to existing plasterwork.
- Work at heights using scaffolding or ladders safely.

Qualifications
- Completion of an apprenticeship or proven experience as a plasterer.
- Proficiency with plastering tools (trowels, floats, levels, hawk).
- Knowledge of different plastering techniques and materials.
- Ability to prepare surfaces effectively.
- Attention to detail for achieving smooth and even finishes.
- Physical stamina and dexterity, often working on ladders or scaffolding.
- Understanding of safety practices.
