Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Planning Engineer to support the project and construction management team on an in-fill development in Abu Dhabi. You will integrate schedule requirements, identify critical-path activities, and contribute to progress reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with planning certification and experience with Primavera P6 and related tools. Candidates should have a track record in planning, budgeting, and cost control within engineering consultancy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with planning/scheduling certification.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and Primavera Contract Management/Expedition.
• Prior consultancy or project management experience in planning.
• Experience in budgeting, cost phasing and control from start to close.

Responsibilities

• Integrate schedule requirements to establish work sequences for all disciplines.
• Prepare schedule commentary appearing in progress reports.
• Identify critical-path activities for project milestones.
• Review invoice verification for payment based on cost-loaded schedules.
• Review schedule data and interface between project teams.
• Monitor schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions.
