Job summary

GEA Grade is seeking a seasoned Project Scheduler to lead planning activities for mechanical projects in Abu Dhabi. You will develop and maintain detailed schedules, identify critical paths, coordinate resources, and engage stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, has at least 5 years of related experience, and is proficient with Primavera.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Proficient with Primavera and familiar with planning project technology.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical plans.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in safety compliance.
• Understand and define the full scope of the project.
• Develop and maintain detailed, easy-to-understand project schedules and visual aids.
• Identify critical path items and interdependencies early in the lifecycle.
• Obtain accurate time and cost estimates based on available information.
• Update and adjust the schedule as needed throughout the project.
• Engage stakeholders in scheduling and monitoring for smooth execution.
• Coordinate activities, resources, materials, machinery and equipment.
• Monitor the project schedule regularly and take early corrective action.
• Plan contingency alternatives to meet project goals.
• Balance effort and identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.
• Provide timely solutions to potential issues to ensure efficient execution.
• Facilitate communication and cooperation among all parties while complying with safety and project requirements.
