The ideal candidate will have advanced MS Excel, forecasting experience, and SAP proficiency, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights in a manufacturing setting.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Planning Analyst to join our Supply Chain Planning team. The role will support material and production planning, demand forecasting, data analysis and management reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Advanced MS Excel, statistical and mathematical analysis, forecasting and supply chain planning, with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have prior experience in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Supply Production PlanningSystematically gather the forecast sales plans from all customers then perform thorough statistical analysis on this data using appropriate statistical and mathematical tools in order to convert into robust demand plan. Ensure that all required RM/PM is ordered and available to support the next 13 months of the plan for filling and packing by timely and accurate run of MRP. Update PIR, order reservation, creation of planned orders and validate process orders according to the production requirements. Communicate with stakeholders sharing reports, updates and analysis to aid decision and optimize operational efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis for any discrepancies in forecasts, production supply and actual sales. Any other task duties assigned by reporting supervisor.
• SAP Data MaintenanceEnsure that all the LSF planned independent requirements, dependent requirements, planned orders, process orders, order confirmation and reservations are validated on a regular interval and accurate in the system. Ensure that material master data at plant levels is correct and updated. Ensure that BOM, Bill of Materials and production versions are created with accurate parameters.
• Planning Data Exploration and Multiple Analysis requested by the managementUse statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyse data, identify patterns, relationships, and trends which can influence policy and decision-making processes for the planning team as well as for reports for management. Ability to undertake complex analysis to create information and to interpret data and trends. Numerate with statistical studies and a full understanding of how failure impacts the production, manufacture and customer order fulfilment.

Mandatory Skills & Expertise

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Advanced in MS Excel - mathematical and statistical functions such as FORECAST.ETS, IF/IFS, Nested IF, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, AVERAGEIFS, STDEV, CORREL, ROUND, and other advanced Excel functions.
• Strong background in SAP, through knowledge of complete functionality of T-codes, MD04 & COOISPI.
• Exposure in the manufacturing planning process, overall supply chain functions and process knowledge of MRP & its functions.
• Data Visualization through charts & dashboards to make the reports & analysis understandable at a glance for management (PPT & POWER BI).

Competency Weightage: 30% Planning operations, 50% Analytical and 20% Planning.
